We welcome all passengers from the CruiseShips to Lochmara.
Depart Picton on our Lochmara Water Taxi and enjoy a short cruise through the stunning Marlborough Sounds. We may encounter dolphins, a NZ fur seal plus a variety of native seabirds including Fluttering Shearwaters, Gannets and even our little blue penguin.
Upon arrival, see an array of native fauna, flora and marine life. At Lochmara choose from the numerous activities available. Options include free use of the kayaks and paddleboards, swimming, exploring bush tracks, hand-feeding our native Kakariki parakeets or just relaxing in our waterfront cafe and bar. In addition you can book on a guided tour to hand feed wild stingrays and experiece the Underwater Observatory.
Start and End times will be adjusted to suit ships ETA or ETD in Port, therefore not all times may be available.
Depart Picton at 11.30am and depart lochmara at 2.45pm.
January 21st depart Picton at 10.30am and depart Lochmara at 2.00pm.

*There is a moderate amount of walking and some uneven surfaces.
- All cruise ship guests will be back in Picton 15-20 mins from departing Lochmara.
- For cruise ships arriving earlier or later, the Lochmara Water Transport timings will differ according to cruise ship requirements.
